One good thing about this place is that it provided a cool retreat from KL's heat, ultimate coffee shops, great people watching space.Dave and I also got carried away with reflected reality which provided us with a much more entertaining view of the world.Hence the rather arty photos of shoppers reflected in windows.

About to embark on an art tour, I made this pouch to suit my needs for travelling.

To make this customised Travel Pouch you need a piece of firm material such as the tapestry sample below.  Optional to line this. The edges are finished with bias binding and a recycled toggle stitched in about the centre. Fold up the bottom to suit your brushes and pencils. Place the items on the fold and mark the size of the pocket needed to hold it in place.Remove items and machine stitch. A piece of wide elastic can hold a rubber, sharpener etc.Stitch in place.
I fold the top down over the brushes etc,  to keep everything from falling out at the top. Roll  up and secure with the toggle and you have a compact brush and pencil holder ready for packing.
